Thermotech Environmental Inc. uses the ThermaPureHeat® process for pest control. This process is a

ONE Time process and does not require multiple applications as this will kill all forms of the pest including

the eggs. Our treatment takes approximately 8 hours to complete as we heat the infected area to 60oC or

140oF. This temperature is maintained for 4 hours to allow time for this heat to penetrate into all areas the

pest hides. We use hot dry air which will penetrate through all furniture, mattresses and couches. This method

does not require you to throw out any of these items. This is a great savings for you ! This method does

require HEAT sensitive items to be removed from the area during treatment. These items are all indicated on

our Owner Site Prep sheet which can be viewed by using the above link. This sheet must be followed

closely to ensure an effective treatment. Thermotech does not require you to move a lot of furniture

as the heat will penetrate into all of these areas.

ThermaPureHeat® - A simple solution to healthier buildings.

Louis PasteurSince Louis Pasteur saved the French wine harvest in the1860s, heat has been used to kill microorganisms.  Today, another heat technology, ThermaPureHeat®, is used in buildings to kill mold, bacteria, viruses, and insects - it's Structural Pasteurization™.

How the ThermaPureHeat® disinfection process works to improve the air we breathe…

Clean, dry heat is directed into a containment or structure through flexible Mylar ducting to slowly raise room air to a safe “sauna-like temperature” that is lethal to the targeted organism. Temperatures in the range of 140-150ºF for about one hour prove fatal to many of the organisms that co-habit our buildings.

It’s a safe, effective, non-chemical environmental remediation process.

The patented ThermaPureHeat® process utilizes clean, dry, odorless heat to create an environment that is lethal to the targeted organism.  The process is implemented for the disinfection of structures, enclosable areas, and objects.  Used in treating entire structures for more common contamination such as mold, bacteria, termites, bed bugs, dust mites, and other microorganisms; the same scientifically proven principles are effective on bacterial and viral hazards such as E. coli, Hantavirus, Anthrax and Smallpox.

Different laboratory conditions can vary the results of studies to determine thermal death points. To account for the complications of practical application, ThermaPureHeat® technicians specify temperatures and durations exceeding those recorded in the lab.
