IMPORTANT PUBLIC NOTICE:
Recently, there was a major fire at the Royal Scot Apartments in Edmonton Alberta. The damage to the complex has been estimated at approximated 4.5 million dollars. In addition, there were 4 individuals injured as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire has been reported to have been started by a Propane Heater used to treat pests. First, Thermotech employees are properly trained in safely using and setting up equipment for all jobs. Second, WE DO NOT use any Propane heaters. We ONLY use INDIRECT DIESEL fired Heaters which only pumps hot air into the structure with ALL of the flame remaining outside. Thermotech also uses ELECTRIC heaters which are all triple protected against overheating and all circuits are fused in case of a shorts in the wiring or heater. It is the same as using a hair dryer but on a larger scale.

Thermotech Environmental Inc. uses the ThermaPureHeat® process for pest control. This process is a ONE Time process and does not require multiple applications as this will kill all forms of the pest including the eggs. Our treatment takes approximately 8 hours to complete as we heat the infected area to 60°C or 140°F. This temperature is maintained for 4 hours toetrate through all furniture, mattresses and couches. T allow time for this heat to penetrate into all areas the pest hides. We use hot dry air which will penhis method does not require you to throw out any of these items. This is a great savings for you ! This method does require HEAT sensitive items to be removed from the area during treatment. These items are all indicated on our Owner Site Prep sheet which can be viewed by using the above link. This sheet must be followed closely to ensure an effective treatment. Thermotech does not require you to move a lot of furniture as the heat will penetrate into all of these areas.
